From Military to Ministry
After high school, Nevers Mumba completed one year of compulsory training with the Zambia National Service. He had thought about joining the military full-time. However, he changed his mind and decided to work in the mines in the Copperbelt province instead.
While working in the mines, he became interested in the Pentecostal Movement. He joined Maranathan Church and became a church elder at just 19 years old. The very next year, in 1980, he started his own church, Victory Bible Church. He also founded Victory Ministries International.
