Discover New Life Ranch Frontier Cove
New Life Ranch Frontier Cove started in 1986. It was first known as Dry Gulch, U.S.A. Willie George, a pastor from Church on the Move, created it. He used the camp's Wild West town as a set. This was for his TV show, The Gospel Bill Show. The show taught Christian values.
Besides religious activities, the camp offers many fun things to do. You can enjoy classic camp activities like basketball and swimming. There are also obstacle courses, canoeing, and inner tube riding. Plus, there are unique attractions. These include carousel rides, bumper cars, and even go-karts!
The Christmas Train Adventure
When the property was Dry Gulch, U.S.A., it had a special attraction. It was called The Christmas Train. People also knew it as the Dry Gulch & Silver City Railroad. This was a narrow gauge heritage railroad. It opened in 1996.
The train used real steam locomotives. It ran during the weeks leading up to Christmas. Each year, over 50,000 people visited The Christmas Train. It was a very popular holiday event. However, the train rides stopped after the 2016 Christmas season.
Historic Steam Locomotives
The Christmas Train had three steam locomotives. They ran on propane fuel. Two of these trains were very old and historic. You can see details about them in the table below.

A New Chapter for the Camp
In February 2016, Church on the Move decided to sell Dry Gulch, U.S.A. They hoped another similar group would buy it. In August 2018, New Life Ranch bought the camp. They renamed it "New Life Ranch Frontier Cove." Around the same time, The Christmas Train was also sold. It went to a group outside of Oklahoma.
