This happened in January 2002. American teams and their robots traveled to England for the filming. The show had six episodes. After its first season, it was shown again on Nick GAS.

Show Changes for Kids
The show featured many robots that fans of the American Robot Wars series knew. These included robots like 'Rosie The Riveter' and 'The Revolutionist'. However, the people controlling the robots were all children. They were part of the robot teams.
To make the show fun and safe for a younger audience, some changes were made. These changes affected the arena and the 'House Robots':
- All flame hazards were turned off. This included the flame pit and fire jets. Even Sgt Bash's flamethrower was disabled.
- The famous 'House Robot' Sir Killalot got a new, shorter name. He was called "Sir K." This was a name often used for him in the official UK Robot Wars magazine.
- The Pit Release Bumper was moved. It was placed further down the arena wall. This put it closer to a special corner zone.
- The language used on the show was also changed. Any rough or strong language was not allowed.
