Nicole Holness, born on April 13, 1984, is a talented TV host and R&B singer from Canada. She became well-known as a member of the girl group X-Quisite from 2002 to 2005, singing alongside Melanie Fiona and Nirvana Savoury. Later, in 2006, Nicole joined MTV Canada as one of the first hosts for their main show, MTV Live. She hosted the show with Paul Lemieux, Sheena Snively, and Dave Merheje, getting to interview many famous people like Akon, Ciara, and Lily Allen.

Nicole's Early Life
Nicole Holness has a diverse family background, with roots from Guyana, Indigenous Canada, Scotland, and the West Indies. She grew up in Toronto, Canada. Nicole is very good at languages and can speak both French and Tagalog fluently. She went to Cedarbrae Collegiate Institute for her schooling. Before becoming famous, Nicole also trained in ballet and jazz dance. She even worked as a model, appearing in many advertisements across the country.
Singing with X-Quisite
In 2002, Nicole Holness joined a Canadian R&B girl group called X-Quisite. Her bandmates were Melanie Fiona and Nirvana Savoury. The group signed with Warner Music (Canada) and released their first album, also called X-Quisite, in 2003.
Awards and Hit Songs
In 2004, X-Quisite was nominated for a big award at the Juno Awards of 2004. The Juno Awards are like Canada's version of the Grammy Awards. The group was one of five finalists for "R&B/Soul Recording of the Year" for their album X-Quisite. The album also had popular songs like "Bad Girl" and "No Regrets." The group stayed together until 2005, when they decided to go their separate ways.
Nicole's Solo Music
After X-Quisite, Nicole Holness started her own music career. On March 1, 2011, she released her first solo album, titled Unreleased. Before the album came out, she released her first single, "Epic," on May 5, 2009. Later, on June 29, 2010, she released another single called "Pop Yo Bottles."
