X-Quisite was a Canadian R&B girl group. The group started in 2002 with three members: Nicole Holness, Melanie Fiona Hallim, and Andreena Mill. In 2003, Nirvana Savoury joined the group. They signed with Linus Entertainment.

In 2003, X-Quisite released their first album, also called X-Quisite. This album was very popular. In 2004, the group was nominated for a Juno Award for "R&B/Soul Recording of the Year". Some of their most famous songs from this album were "Bad Girl", "No Regrets", and "Sassy Thang". The group stopped making music together in 2005. After that, all the members started their own solo music careers.

Nicole Holness's Journey

Nicole Holness was born in Toronto, Ontario, on April 13, 1984. After X-Quisite, she became a TV host. She was one of the first hosts of MTV Canada's main show, MTV Live.

On March 1, 2011, Nicole released her first solo album, Unreleased. Before the album, she released two singles: "Epic" in 2009 and "Pop Yo Bottles" in 2010. She also worked as a model in many advertisements across Canada.

Melanie Fiona Hallim's Music Career

Melanie Fiona Hallim was born in Toronto, Ontario, on July 4, 1983. Her parents were immigrants from Guyana. After X-Quisite, Melanie had a very successful music career. She was briefly in another group called The Renaissance. She also recorded a reggae song called "Somebody Come Get Me" under the name Syren Hall. This song was on the Reggae Gold 2008 album.

Melanie started her solo career with her first album, The Bridge, released in 2009. Her first single, "Give It to Me Right", was a hit in Canada and the UK. Her second single, "It Kills Me", became a big success. It reached the Top 50 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. It also topped the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart. This song earned her a Grammy Award nomination. Her song "Monday Morning" became her biggest hit in Europe.

In 2012, Melanie Fiona won two Grammy Awards. She won for Best Traditional R&B Performance and Best R&B Song. These awards were for her song "Fool for You" with Cee Lo Green. She also wrote songs for other artists like Rihanna and Kardinal Offishall.

Andreena Mill's Solo Work

Andreena Mill has released many solo songs. She has also sung backup or as a guest for other R&B and hip hop artists. These artists include Drake, DMX, and Kardinal Offishall. Andreena's father was also a musician. He saw her talent when she was only 3 years old. She started piano lessons the next year. By age 11, Andreena was writing and recording her own music.

In 2002, X-Quisite became well-known with their songs "No Regrets" and "Don't Say". These songs were successful in Canada. They also earned the group nominations for Canadian Urban Music Awards and Juno Awards in 2003.

In 2004, Andreena decided to start her own solo career. She signed a music publishing deal in 2010. Andreena calls her unique music style "Electric Rock'n Soul". She also worked with rapper Drake on his mixtape "Comeback Season". This mixtape became popular around the world. Andreena loves what she does and finds time to write for other artists.

Nirvana Savoury's Return to Music

Nirvana Savoury took a break from music for a while. She made a comeback in the 2010s. In 2011, she released a single called "Lipstick Lover". She also released a dance mixtape with Jester and Kid Kut. This mixtape included three new songs: "Ambulance", "Flavors", and "Throb".

Nirvana also appeared on Karl Wolf's 2012 album Finally Free. She was featured on the song "Tell Me". She planned to release her own solo album in 2013.
