Nigél Thatch (born August 8, 1976) is an American actor. He is known for playing the important historical figure Malcolm X in two different projects. He played Malcolm X in the TV series Godfather of Harlem and in the movie Selma. For his role in Godfather of Harlem, he was nominated for an award.

Nigél Thatch's Acting Career
Nigél Thatch has had a long career in television and movies. In the 1990s, he appeared on a TV show called The Parent 'Hood. He also played a character named Leon in some commercials for Budweiser.
One of his most famous roles was playing Malcolm X. Malcolm X was a very important leader in American history. Nigél Thatch played him in the 2014 movie Selma. This movie was about the Civil Rights Movement.
Later, from 2019 to 2021, Nigél Thatch played Malcolm X again. This time it was in the TV series Godfather of Harlem. For his work in this series, he was nominated for a best supporting actor award at the 51st NAACP Image Awards. This award celebrates the achievements of people of color in entertainment.
