Nikos Anastopoulos (born 22 January 1958) is a famous Greek former football player and manager. He was one of the best strikers in the Greek league during the 1980s. Many people think he is one of the greatest Greek footballers ever.

Anastopoulos started his career at Panionios in 1976. He quickly became a top player and helped them win the cup in 1979. After playing very well in a European competition, many clubs wanted him. He then joined Olympiacos.

At Olympiacos, he became a fan favorite and scored many goals. He even won the Bronze Boot in 1982–83 as the third-highest scorer in Europe! He helped Olympiacos win four league championships in the 1980s. In 1987, he moved to Serie A team Avellino in Italy, but it wasn't very successful. He returned to Panionios in 1988.

After a year, he went back to Olympiacos in 1989. Even though the club had money problems, he was a key player. He helped them win two more Greek Football Cups before leaving for Ionikos in 1992. After one good season there, Anastopoulos returned to Olympiacos. He stopped playing professionally in 1993 to become an assistant manager.

Nikos Anastopoulos played for the Greek national team from 1977 to 1988. He played 74 games, which was a record at the time. With 29 goals, he is still the all-time top scorer for Greece! He also scored Greece's first goal in a major international tournament at the 1980 European Championship.

People admired his playing style. He was known for his amazing acrobatic goals, headers, and great positioning. He is seen as one of the greatest players in Olympiacos history, scoring 159 goals in 291 official games.

After retiring as a player, he became a football manager. He had success with clubs like PAS Giannina, Panachaiki, Aris, OFI, and Kalamata. Fans loved him at these clubs. He was known for being direct, flexible with his tactics, and doing well under pressure. He helped teams get promoted and avoid being moved down to a lower league many times.
