Nisaba Adi "Nisa" Godrej, born in 1978, is a very important Indian businesswoman. She is currently the chairperson of a big company called Godrej Consumer Products, often known as GCPL. This company makes many products you might use every day.
Nisaba Godrej's Early Life
Nisa Godrej is the youngest daughter of Adi Godrej and Parmeshwar Godrej. Her father, Adi Godrej, is a well-known business leader. She has two older siblings, Tanya Dubash and Pirojsha Adi Godrej.
Nisa went to school at The Cathedral & John Connon School. After that, she studied at The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. She also earned a special business degree, an MBA, from Harvard Business School. These are all very famous schools!
Her Career Journey
Nisa Godrej has worked on many different projects for Godrej Industries. She helped with new ideas, company plans, and even how the company manages its people.
In 2008, she joined the board of directors for Godrej Agrovet. This is another company in the Godrej group. Then, in May 2017, she became the executive chairperson of Godrej Consumer Products Limited (GCPL). This means she is in charge of leading the company.
She also used to be an independent director for VIP Industries. She left that position in June 2024.
