Nisa Godrej is the youngest daughter of Adi Godrej and Parmeshwar Godrej. Her older siblings are Tanya Dubash and Pirojsha Adi Godrej. She grew up in a family deeply involved in business.

Nisa went to The Cathedral & John Connon School for her early education. After that, she studied at The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, where she earned her bachelor's degree. She later completed her MBA at Harvard Business School. These schools are very famous for business studies.

Becoming a Leader in Business
In 2008, Nisa was appointed to the board of Godrej Agrovet. This means she became a part of the group that guides the company. In May 2017, she became the executive chairperson of Godrej Consumer Products Limited (GCPL). This is a very important leadership role. She was also an independent director on the board of VIP Industries but stepped down from that position in June 2024.
