Nishant Singh Malkani (born September 1, 1987) is an Indian actor and model. He started his acting career in 2009 with the TV show Miley Jab Hum Tum.

He is famous for playing Akshat Jindal in Guddan Tumse Na Ho Payega and Anukalp Gandhi in Preet Se Bandhi Ye Dori Ram Milaayi Jodi. In 2020, he was a contestant on the reality show Bigg Boss 14.

Early Life and Education

Nishant Malkani was born in Dubai on September 1, 1987, to a Sindhi family. He attended Laxman Public School in New Delhi for his early schooling.

After high school, he went to Shaheed Bhagat Singh College. He later earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Kolkata.

Acting Career

Television Debut

Malkani first appeared on television in 2009. He played Adhiraj Singh in the romantic drama Miley Jab Hum Tum on the Star One channel. The show ended in 2010.

Later in 2010, he played the main character, Anukalp Gandhi, in Ram Milaayi Jodi on Zee TV. He left the show in 2011 to try acting in movies.

Movie Roles

In 2013, Malkani made his film debut in the movie Horror Story. He also acted in other films like Bezubaan Ishq and Cute Kameena.

Return to Television

In 2017, Malkani acted in the web series Ragini MMS: Returns, where he played the character Raj.

He returned to television in September 2018 with the Zee TV show Guddan Tumse Na Ho Payega. He played the lead role of Akshat Jindal. Many people consider this his best performance. He left the show in 2020.

In 2020, Malkani joined the reality show Bigg Boss 14 as a contestant. He was in the show for five weeks.
