Njomza Vitia, born on April 22, 1994, is an American singer and songwriter. She is known by her stage name, Njomza. She works with music labels like Capitol, Motown, and SinceThe80s. Since 2013, she has released several music projects, including EPs and a mixtape.
Early Life
Njomza grew up in Chicago, Illinois. Her parents are from Pristina, Kosovo, a country in Europe. They moved to the United States in 1992. Njomza has an older sister. When she was young, her sister introduced her to R&B music. Later, in middle school, Njomza started listening to rock and pop rock music.
Music Career
Njomza started her music journey as the lead singer of an alternative band called Scarlett. The band was very popular and played at the Warped Tour in 2010. In 2011, the band broke up. Njomza then decided to become a solo artist.
She began posting her own versions of songs by artists like Mac Miller and Kid Cudi on YouTube. Mac Miller discovered her talent. He signed her to his own music label, REMember Music. Njomza also helped write two famous songs for Ariana Grande: "7 Rings" and "Thank U, Next".
