Club Career

Starting Out in Football

Nnamdi Oduamadi was born in Lagos, Nigeria. He started playing football at a young age, joining the local Pepsi Football Academy when he was just 7 years old. He moved to Italy in 2008 to join Milan, one of the biggest football clubs in the world. He spent two years playing in Milan's youth teams. In 2010, his youth team won the Coppa Italia Primavera, a big youth cup. This was a special win because the team hadn't won it in 25 years!

In the 2010–11 season, Oduamadi became part of AC Milan's main team. He made his first official appearance in a league game against Catania in September 2010. Even though he was part of the senior team, he sometimes still played for the under-20 team.

Loan Spells and New Experiences

After his time at AC Milan, Oduamadi went on several loan spells to gain more playing experience. A loan spell is when a player temporarily plays for another club.

  • Torino: In 2011, he joined Serie B club Torino. He played 11 games and scored 3 goals for them.
  • Varese and Brescia: For the 2012–13 season, he moved to Varese. The next season, he played for Brescia. In January 2014, he returned to Varese for a second loan period.
  • Crotone and Latina: In 2014, Oduamadi joined Crotone. Later, in 2015, he moved to Latina.
  • Şanlıurfaspor: In July 2015, he went on loan to Şanlıurfaspor in Turkey. However, this loan ended early, and he returned to AC Milan.
  • HJK Helsinki: In March 2016, Oduamadi moved to HJK Helsinki in Finland. He had a great moment there when he scored the winning goal in the "Helsinki derby" against HIFK. This is a very important match between two rival teams from the same city.

Later Career

After his many loan spells, Oduamadi played for Milan's youth team again in the 2017–18 season. He also received calls to join the first team. In October 2021, he signed with Serie D club Crema.

International Career

Nnamdi Oduamadi also played for his home country, Nigeria. He first played for the Nigeria U-17 team. He was later called up for the Nigeria U-20 team for the 2009 FIFA U-20 World Cup, but an injury kept him from playing.

He made his debut for the main Nigeria team in March 2011 against Kenya. Two years later, he played against Kenya again in a World Cup qualifying match. In that game, he scored a very important goal in the last minute to make the score 1–1!
