Noel Anthony Hogan, born on December 25, 1971, is an Irish musician. He is famous for being the guitarist and a songwriter for the Irish rock band, The Cranberries. He also produces music for other artists.

Noel Hogan and The Cranberries
Noel Hogan started The Cranberries band in 1989. He formed it with his brother Mike and their friend Fergal Lawler, who played drums. Soon after, Dolores O'Riordan joined as the lead singer.
The band became very popular around the world. They sold more than 40 million records. Noel Hogan released eight albums with The Cranberries during their time together.
The Cranberries' Break and End
The Cranberries took a break from making music between 2003 and 2009. After Dolores O'Riordan passed away on January 15, 2018, Noel Hogan confirmed the band would stop. Their last album, In the End, was released in 2019. Noel said that The Cranberries could not continue without Dolores.
Noel Hogan's Solo Music Projects
While The Cranberries were on their break, Noel Hogan started working on his own music. He teamed up with Matt Vaughan, a programmer who had worked on some Cranberries songs before.
Mono Band and Arkitekt
Noel created a project called Mono Band. He was the only official member, but different singers helped out. These included Richard Walters, Alexandra Hamnede, and Kate Havnevik. Noel worked with Stephen Street, who had produced music for The Cranberries. Their first album, Mono Band, came out on May 20, 2005.
Later, Noel Hogan and Richard Walters from Mono Band formed a new group called Arkitekt. In 2009, Arkitekt released two short albums, known as EPs, with new songs.
Gohan Records and The Puro
Noel Hogan releases his solo music through his own record label, Gohan Records. He also helps other bands from his hometown of Limerick, Ireland, produce their music. Gohan Records worked with a local radio show to release "Tonelist." This was a collection of songs by musicians from the Limerick music scene.
In 2022, Noel started a new music duo called The Puro. He performs in this group with a Brazilian singer named Mell Peck.
