Noelia Lorenzo Monge (born August 31, 1979), known to her fans simply as Noelia, is a famous singer, songwriter, and business owner from Puerto Rico. She became a star in 1999 with her very first album.
Her first album, called Noelia, was a huge success. It sold so many copies in the United States that it earned a special award called a "gold album." Throughout her career, she has had ten songs in the top 40 of the Latin Billboard charts, which track the most popular songs. She has also won a Latin Billboard Award for her music.

Music Career
Noelia began working on her first album in 1998. When it was released in 1999, it introduced her to the world in a big way. She even performed at the famous Madison Square Garden in New York City. The album had a massive hit song called "Tú" (which means "You" in Spanish).
Growing as an Artist
In 2000, Noelia released her second album, Golpeando Fuerte. Three years later, in 2003, her album Natural came out. It included the popular song "Clávame Tu Amor," which climbed to number 5 on the Billboard Hot Latin Tracks chart.
In 2004, she tried a new style with her album Melao. This album mixed pop music with reggaeton, a popular dance music style. She worked with the reggaeton producer DJ Eric and co-wrote many of the songs herself.
Return to Pop and New Hits
With her 2006 album 40 Grados, Noelia returned to her pop music roots. The album's single, "Como Duele," was so popular that it was nominated for a Billboard award. The song was also used as the theme for a Mexican TV show called a telenovela.
In 2009, she recorded her first English song, "Caribbean Queen," which was a new version of a famous 1984 hit by Billy Ocean.
Success in the Digital Age
Noelia has also been very successful online. In 2011, she performed an online concert that was watched by over 3.5 million people. A year later, her 2012 single "Kiss Me" appeared on two different Billboard charts at the same time.
In 2013, she launched a tour called "Mind Blown" and released a music video for the song of the same name. The video was a big hit, getting over a million views in just 15 days. The song was produced by the famous music producer Timbaland.
Over her career, Noelia has sold nearly 10 million albums all over the world.
Giving Back to the Community
Noelia is a big supporter of charities that help young people. She works with the Boys and Girls Club of East Los Angeles.

Noelia is the daughter of Yolandita Monge, a famous singer and actress from Puerto Rico, and Alfredo Lorenzo, a businessman from Uruguay. Growing up around music, Noelia showed an interest in singing from a young age.
In 2007, she married Jorge Reynoso, a businessman and music producer. Noelia is also a citizen of Mexico.
