Noelia Lorenzo (born August 31, 1979), known as Noelia, is a singer, songwriter, and businesswoman from Puerto Rico. She became famous in 1999.

Her first album, called Noelia, sold very well in the United States. It was certified as a RIAA gold album. This means it sold over 500,000 copies!

Throughout her career, Noelia has had many hit songs. She has had 10 songs reach the top 40 on the Latin Billboard charts. She also had five songs in the top 40 on the Billboard Dance/Club Play Songs chart. Noelia has even won a Latin Billboard Award.

Musical career

Noelia began working on her first album in 1998. Her self-titled album, Noelia, came out in 1999. She made her big debut at Madison Square Garden in New York City.

This album included the popular song "Tú". This song was written by the famous songwriter Estéfano. Her first album quickly became a gold album in the U.S.

In 2000, she released her second album, Golpeando Fuerte. Her third album, Natural, came out in 2003. It featured another hit song called "Clávame Tu Amor". This song reached number 5 on the Billboard Hot Latin Tracks chart.

In 2004, Noelia released her fourth album, Melao. This album mixed pop music with reggaeton sounds. It was produced by DJ Eric.

In 2006, she went back to her original music style with the album 40 Grados. This album had the single "Como Duele". Billboard nominated this song for Pop Song of the Year. It was also used as the theme song for the Mexican TV show Barrera de Amor. The song reached number 8 on Billboard Hot Latin Songs.

In 2007, she released her sixth album, Volverte a Ver. Later, she worked on two more albums. Her first English song for Europe was "Caribbean Queen". It came out in May 2009, mostly in Italy. This song was a cover version of Billy Ocean's 1984 hit, with new lyrics by Noelia.

By the end of 2021, Noelia launched two social media platforms. These are called Celebriffy and Cherryland.vip. Celebriffy is a full social media platform. Noelia has said that her company has more than 65 engineers. These engineers wrote and keep up the special computer code for her platforms.

Personal life

Noelia's full name is Noelia Lorenzo Monge. She is the first daughter of Puerto Rican singer and actress Yolandita Monge. Her father is Uruguayan businessman Alfredo Lorenzo. Noelia showed interest in music from a young age.

Noelia has two half-siblings from her mother's later marriages. In 2007, she secretly married Mexican American aviation entrepreneur and music producer Jorge Reynoso. They got married in Las Vegas, Nevada.
