Norcan Lake is a special kind of lake called a reservoir. It's located in North Frontenac, Ontario, which is in Eastern Ontario, Canada. This lake is part of the Madawaska River system. All its water eventually flows into the big Saint Lawrence River.
Norcan Lake was created by people, not by nature. It was formed when a large area of land was flooded. This happened after the Barrett Chute dam and power station were finished in 1943. The dam helps control the river's flow and generate electricity.
