Jaiden Anthony Watson (born January 25, 1998) is a Canadian musician. He is best known by his stage name, NorthSideBenji. He is a rapper from Brampton, Ontario.
NorthSideBenji became well-known for his song "Levels". This song featured another Toronto rapper named Houdini. "Levels" was released in December 2018. It later became a Certified Gold single. This means it sold many copies! "Levels" was the main song from his first music collection, called an extended play (EP), titled Caviar Dreams. This EP came out on January 18, 2019. He then released his second EP, Frienemy, on September 6, 2019.

Becoming a Musician
NorthSideBenji started rapping in 2016. He released many freestyles (songs made up on the spot) and other songs. He put out several singles and built a large online following. He has over 33,000 fans who follow his music. He works as an independent artist with Music 4 Life.
He released his song "Again" on October 31, 2017. Another song, "Confessions," came out on December 11, 2017.
In early 2018, he shared that he was working on his first EP, Caviar Dreams. It was supposed to come out in July 2018. However, it was released later, on January 18, 2019. The song "Levels" with Houdini was released on January 25, 2019. This song talks about wanting a better life. It speaks about achieving "Caviar Dreams."
The magazine XXL listed him as one of the top 15 Toronto rappers to know. This was a big achievement for him.
Later Music and Collaborations
NorthSideBenji released his second "Fire in the Booth" session on August 26, 2019. This is a special freestyle performance. Rapper Nines supported him during this session. This freestyle helped promote his next EP, Frienemy. This EP came out on September 6, 2019, and had five songs. Frienemy was seen as a more direct and powerful music collection than Caviar Dreams.
The music video for the song "Frienemy" was released on September 29, 2019. It was shown on the British music website GRM Daily. NorthSideBenji also worked with Canadian singer-songwriter Neena Rose. They released the song "Secret" in October 2019. He also appeared on the song "Too Soft" with Houdini. This song was part of 6ixbuzz's album NorthernSound, released in December 2019.
His song "Levels" officially became Certified Gold by Music Canada on April 7, 2020. This means it sold over 40,000 copies in Canada.
He was also featured on two songs, "Don't Change" and "Flex." These songs are on Nines' album Crabs in a Bucket. This album reached number one on the UK Albums Chart in the United Kingdom.
