Where is North Buffalo Located?

This neighborhood stretches from the border of Kenmore, New York in the north down to Delaware Park in the south. On its western side, you'll find Elmwood Avenue, and Main Street forms its eastern boundary. The land in North Buffalo is mostly flat.

A long time ago, a stream called Cornelius Creek flowed through this area. It followed a path similar to where Hertel Avenue is today. Now, Cornelius Creek is buried underground and is part of the city's system for managing rainwater.
