North Fork Creek facts for kids

Kids Encyclopedia Facts

North Fork Creek is a cool waterway in northwest Pennsylvania, in the United States. It's a tributary of Redbank Creek. Think of a tributary as a smaller stream or river that flows into a larger one.

North Fork Creek starts when two smaller streams, Muddy Run and Williams Run, meet. This meeting point, called a confluence, is in a place called Polk Township, in Jefferson County. Later on, North Fork Creek joins up with Sandy Lick Creek. Together, they form Redbank Creek in the town of Brookville, also in Jefferson County.
