The Norwegian Dawn was built in Germany. The shipbuilders were Meyer-Werft in Papenburg. It was first ordered by a company called Star Cruises in 2001.
Star Cruises decided to use some of their ships for Norwegian Cruise Line. So, the ship that would become the Norwegian Dawn joined their fleet. In 2002, the Norwegian Dawn was delivered to Norwegian Cruise Line. It was the second ship of its kind to join the fleet.
Where the Norwegian Dawn Sails
The Norwegian Dawn sails from New York City. It travels to several exciting places. These include Port Canaveral, Florida, and Miami, Florida. The ship also visits beautiful islands in the Bahamas. These stops include Nassau, Bahamas and Great Stirrup Cay.
