What is the Notah Begay III Foundation?
In 2005, a famous golfer named Notah Begay III started his own foundation. He was the first Native American golfer to win on the PGA Tour, winning four times. His foundation is a special non-profit group. It helps provide healthy living and sports programs for Native American youth. Notah Begay III saw that many tribal communities did not have enough sports activities for kids. So, he created the Foundation to bring golf and soccer programs to these communities.
