Notocrater is a group of small sea snails. These snails are a type of mollusc, like clams or octopuses. They are also called "true limpets" because of their shell shape.
You can find Notocrater snails living deep in the ocean. They belong to a scientific group called the Pseudococculinidae family. Some species of Notocrater have two small feelers, or tentacles, on each side of their body. These are found in the grooves between their foot and their mantle, which is a part of their body that helps form the shell.
