Nowy Dwór Królewski (pronounced like "NOV-ee DVOOR kroo-LEF-skee") is a small village in north-central Poland. It's part of the Gmina Papowo Biskupie area, located within Chełmno County in the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship. The village itself covers about 3.37 square kilometers.
Nowy Dwór Królewski has an area of 337 hectares, which is like 337 football fields! There are 32 homes here. A large palace, built around 1875, can be found in the village. In 1900, Zuzanna Witte became the owner of the village. Later, from 1910 to 1945, Gerhard Witte owned it.

History of Nowy Dwór Królewski
Early Days and Teutonic Knights
The village was first mentioned way back in 1398. Records from that time show that Nowy Dwór Królewski was a farming community. They had 32 horses, 20 cattle, 215 sheep, and 90 pigs!
In old German documents, the village was called by different names like Nuwenhof or Koenigliche Neuhof. From 1398 to 1421, the village was under the control of the Teutonic Order. This was a powerful group of knights. In 1505, the village became the property of the Bishop of Chełmno.
Becoming Part of Prussia
In 1772, during a time when Poland's lands were being divided, Nowy Dwór Królewski became part of West Prussia. This was a region of Germany. The first official count of residents in the village happened in 1773.
Recent Times and World War II
Just before World War II began, many people living in Nowy Dwór Królewski left their homes. They were afraid of what might happen when the Germans arrived. Soon after the war started, the village was taken over. Sadly, some parts of the village were destroyed during this time.
From 1975 to 1998, the village was part of the Toruń administrative region. In 1996, the village got connected to the telephone network. This was a big step for communication!
