Nurgle facts for kids

In the fantasy worlds of Warhammer 40,000 and Warhammer Fantasy, Nurgle is one of the four main Chaos gods. He came to be from feelings of sadness and hopelessness. Nurgle is known as the Chaos god of disease, decay, despair, and destruction.

Even though he brings sickness and decay, he acts like a caring, jolly grandfather to those he affects. Because of this, he is often called Grandfather Nurgle or Papa Nurgle. He is also known as the Lord of Decay, Master of Plague and Pestilence, and Lord of All. He looks like a giant, swollen person covered in boils and sores, with a body that seems to be rotting. A cloud of buzzing flies is usually always around him.
