Benedict Chiajulam Ihesiba Jr. (born April 23, 1992 – died December 26, 2024), known by his stage name OG Maco, was a talented rapper from College Park, Georgia. He became famous in 2014 with his hit song "U Guessed It". This song was so popular that a remix with 2 Chainz even made it onto the Billboard Hot 100 music chart!
In 2014, OG Maco joined Quality Control Music, a record label that later partnered with big names like Motown and Capitol Records. The next year, he was chosen as one of XXL magazine's "Freshman Class" of new artists. He also started his own hip hop group called OGG. Through OGG, he helped discover the producer OG Parker. In 2016, he released an album called For Scott… as a special tribute to one of his favorite rappers, Kid Cudi, whose real name is Scott Mescudi.

Benedict Chiajulam Ihesiba Jr. was born on April 23, 1992, in College Park, Georgia. When he was younger, he played guitar and sang in a band with his friends called Dr. Doctor.
Music Career
OG Maco was inspired by many different artists. Some of his biggest influences included the rock band Black Sabbath, and rappers Kid Cudi and Currensy. He released several albums and extended plays (EPs) during his career.
Health and Passing
On July 28, 2016, OG Maco was in a serious car accident. He was badly hurt, suffering injuries to his head and other parts of his body.
Sadly, Benedict Ihesiba passed away on December 26, 2024.
