History of Oakleaf Plantation
Oakleaf Plantation was started in 2002. It was developed by a company called the Hutson Companies. They helped plan and build the entire community.

Oakleaf Plantation is in a good spot in Florida. A major road, State Road 23, also known as the First Coast Expressway, runs right through the middle of the community. This road is part of Jacksonville's future outer beltway, which is like a big ring road around the city.
Another important road, Argyle Forest Boulevard, connects Oakleaf Plantation to State Road 21 (Blanding Boulevard). This road leads to the Argyle Forest neighborhood in Jacksonville.
