Oberlin is a town in Louisiana, United States. It is the "parish seat" of Allen Parish. This means it's where the main government offices for the parish are located.
In 2010, about 1,770 people lived in Oberlin. The town is named after Johann Friedrich Oberlin.
A well-known person from Oberlin was Ernest S. Clements. He was a member of the Democratic Party. He served in the Louisiana State Senate and later on the Louisiana Public Service Commission.
