Och Aye the G'nu is a fun children's album released in 2017. It was made by famous Australian singer Jimmy Barnes and the much-loved children's group, The Wiggles. The album was first talked about by Anthony Field from The Wiggles. It came out in March 2017 and was quite popular, reaching number 34 on the Australian music charts.
This album was so good that it won an award! At the ARIA Music Awards of 2017, Och Aye the G'nu was named the ARIA Award for Best Children's Album.

Who is Jimmy Barnes?
Jimmy Barnes is a legendary rock singer from Australia. He was born in Scotland. He's famous for his solo songs and for being the lead singer of the band Cold Chisel. Jimmy has sold over 12 million albums! He's even been put into the ARIA Hall of Fame twice, which is a huge honor in Australian music. In 2016, he wrote a best-selling book about his life. Och Aye the G'nu is his very first album made just for kids.
Meet The Wiggles
The Wiggles are a super popular children's entertainment group. They have been making music and shows for over 25 years! They have sold millions of DVDs, albums, and books around the world. Like Jimmy Barnes, The Wiggles have also been inducted into the ARIA Hall of Fame.
Why They Made This Album
When the album was released, Jimmy Barnes shared why he made it. He said it was "an honor and a pleasure" to work with his old friends, The Wiggles. He wrote Och Aye the G'nu especially for his grandchildren. He was thinking of his "cheeky little red headed Scot" grandchild. The album was also inspired by his love for Scotland and the city of Glasgow.
Anthony Field, who produced the album, loved working on it. He said the songs "come from Jimmy's heart." He also mentioned how much fun they had. Anthony felt it was a "very special project for children."
