Ohio History is a special magazine that shares true stories about the past. It focuses on the history of Ohio and the Midwest. Experts read and check the articles before they are published. This makes sure the information is correct and reliable.
This magazine started way back in 1887. For a long time, the Ohio Historical Society published it. Since 2007, Kent State University Press has been publishing it every year. You can even find many old issues online! The Ohio Historical Society has a huge online library of issues from volume 1 to 113. This online library is supported by the Ohio Public Library Information Network.
In spring 2020, Ohio History changed how it was shared. It used to be a printed magazine. Now, it is available online for free. This change helps more people read and learn from the articles.
