Ojos del Salado facts for kids
Ojos del Salado is a huge volcano located in the Andes Mountains. It stands tall at about 6,893 metres (22,615 ft). This amazing mountain is found on the border between Argentina and Chile.
It's known as the highest active volcano on Earth! It's also the second tallest mountain in all of North and South America. The first people to successfully climb to the very top were Justyn Wojsznis and Jan Szczepański. They made this incredible climb in 1937.
