Oksana Petrovna Grigorieva (Russian: Оксана Петровна Григорьева; born 23 February 1970) is a talented Russian singer, songwriter, and pianist. She began her music studies in Moscow and continued them at a conservatoire in Kazan. Later, she moved to London to further her education at the Royal Academy of Music.
After her time in London, Oksana moved to the United States, living in both New York City and Los Angeles. She taught music there and even created a special way to teach children how to read musical notes. Oksana became well-known in 2006 when a song she wrote, "Un día llegará," became very popular on Josh Groban's album Awake. In 2009, she released her own album called Beautiful Heartache.

Early Life and Education
Oksana Grigorieva was born Oksana Petrovna Chernukha in Saransk, Russia, in 1970. Both of her parents were music professors, so she grew up surrounded by music. She spent her childhood in Ukraine and Russia.
When she was 15, Oksana moved to Moscow to study piano at a university. She worked very hard, sometimes practicing for ten hours a day. She finished her music studies at a conservatoire in Kazan.

Personal Life and Family
Oksana Grigorieva has been married twice. In 1989, she was married to Igor Baranov for three months. In 1992, she married British artist Nicholas Rowland.
She also had a relationship with actor Timothy Dalton, known for playing James Bond. They met in 1995. Oksana and Timothy had a son named Alexander, who was born in 1997. Their relationship ended in 2003.
Oksana has also been involved in charity work. She supported the Chernobyl Children's Project International in Belarus.

From 2007, Oksana was in a relationship with actor Mel Gibson. They had a daughter together named Lucia, who was born in 2009. The couple separated in 2010.
