Olaya is a town and a special area called a municipality in Colombia. It's in the western part of the Antioquia Department.
Olaya shares borders with other towns. To the north, it borders Liborina. To the east and south, it borders Belmira and Sopetrán. To the west, it borders Santa Fe de Antioquia. The town sits high up, about 500 meters (1,600 feet) above sea level.
Olaya is about 100 kilometers (62 miles) from Medellín. Medellín is the main city of the Antioquia Department. Olaya is quite small, covering only 90 square kilometers (35 square miles). This makes it the smallest municipality in Antioquia. It's also one of the oldest towns in the department!
