Old Town (sometimes spelled Oldtown) is a place in North Carolina. It used to be an area that wasn't officially part of a town, called an "unincorporated community." Later, it became a part of the city of Winston-Salem. This process is called being "annexed." Old Town is located near other places like Bethania, Tobaccoville, and Pfafftown, along a road called NC 67. Today, "Old Town" refers to a neighborhood within Winston-Salem that covers the same area.

What You Can Find in Old Town

The Old Town area has grown quite a bit over the years. A shopping center called the Old Town Center opened in the 1960s. It now has many different stores and restaurants that people know from all over the country. There are also other local shops and places to eat there. South of the neighborhood, closer to Pfafftown, you can find Old Town Park and its Neighborhood Center. These places offer fun and activities for the community.
