Oleg Bryzhak (born October 27, 1960 – died March 24, 2015) was a talented opera singer. He was a bass-baritone, which means he sang with a deep voice. Oleg was born in Jezkazgan, in what was then the Kazakh Soviet Socialist Republic. He later became a German citizen.

Early Life and Faith
Oleg Bryzhak was born in 1960. He grew up in Jezkazgan. Besides his singing, he was also a protodeacon. This is a special role in the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Kyivan Patriarchate. He served in a church in Krefeld, Germany.
His Tragic End
Oleg Bryzhak died on March 24, 2015. He was traveling back from performances in Barcelona, Spain. He had been singing in Richard Wagner's opera Siegfried. Sadly, the plane he was on, Germanwings Flight 9525, crashed in France. Another singer, Maria Radner, also died in the crash.
