Later, she went to France to study even more. She earned another advanced degree in 1985 from Pierre and Marie Curie University. Her second project was about a famous math problem called the Yamabe Problem.
After finishing her studies, she came back to Valencia. She became a professor at the University of Valencia. Since 2000, she has been part of the university's main leadership team.
