Olga Novo was born in 1975 in Vilarmao, a small town in Galicia. She is a well-known writer who creates both poems and essays.

She studied the Galician language and its literature at the University of Santiago de Compostela. After her studies, she became a high school teacher in Galicia. She also taught Galician literature at a university in Lorient, France. Her writings have been published in many different magazines and newspapers over the years.
