Olha Freimut (born Olha Mykhailivna Konyk on 25 February 1982) is a famous Ukrainian TV presenter, journalist, writer, and model. She is known for her work on many popular TV shows.

About Olha Freimut

Olha Freimut was born on 25 February 1982 in Novyi Rozdil, a town in Lviv Oblast. Her father was a football player. Her mother was a master in swimming. When Olha was very young, she often went to watch her father's football matches. She also studied piano at a music school for eight years.

She went to university and earned a Master's degree in International Journalism. She studied at the University of Lviv in Ukraine and at City, University of London in the UK. She graduated with great honors from London. While she was studying, she also worked as a waitress.

Olha Freimut's TV Career

Olha started her career as a journalist at the BBC. She also appeared in advertisements. After the Orange Revolution in Ukraine, she moved back from London to Kyiv. She began working in the international department at Channel 5. However, she soon realized that being an international journalist was not what she wanted. For a short time, she worked on a fashion program called Breakfast with 1+1.

In 2008, she joined a daytime show on 1+1. She learned about an audition for a daytime show at Novyi Kanal. She became a co-presenter of Pidyom with Oleksandr Pedan and Serhiy Prytula. The last episode of Pidyom aired on 27 May 2011.

Olha also writes articles about fashion. She plans to focus more on fashion journalism in the future. In 2010, she met Ukrainian designer Oksana Karavanskaya.

From June 2011, she hosted the program Shoumaniya with Dima Kolyadenko. This show ended on 4 March 2012.

In August 2011, Olha started her very popular show called Revizor. In this show, she checks how good the service is at different places in Ukraine. These places include restaurants and hotels. Revizor became one of the most successful shows on Novyi Kanal. On 10 March 2012, she started hosting Who's on top? with Serhiy Prytula. In the summer of 2012, she hosted Kabrioleto. In this show, she traveled across Ukraine with Serhiy Prytula and Oleksandr Pedan.

In 2011, Focus magazine listed Olha Freimut as one of the "30 most successful broadcasters in Ukraine." She was ranked 26th. Olha has also done voice acting. In the summer of 2011, she lent her voice to a character in The Smurfs cartoon.

On 2 December 2011, she helped host the draw for the European Football Championship 2012.

In the autumn of 2012, she was a judge on the show "ShoumaStgouon."

On 13 October 2013, she hosted the show War of the Worlds on Novyi Kanal with Aram Mnatsakanov. In this show, she acted as an auditor for a chef.

On 3 September 2014, Freimut started hosting Freimut the Inspector on 1+1 TV. In 2014, she also hosted the fourth season of The Voice of the country. She also worked on a reboot of the show on 1+1.

In December 2014, she released a special episode of Special Inspector Freimut. This episode was filmed in the ATO zone. She visited and inspected a base of the German Armed Forces there.

In 2015, Olha became the new face of ZARINA, a Jewelry House. On 2 September, she presented her first book in Lviv. It was called Where Eats and With whom Freimut Sleeps. On 11 October, she became a coach on the show "Little Giants" on "1+1".

On 5 April 2016, the reality show "On knives" premiered on 1+1. Olha Freimut was the main host. She also voiced the character of Polina in the Polish TV series Our Lady in Warsaw. In the same year, she had a small role in the Russian-Ukrainian series Hotel Elephant. Another actress voiced her character in that show.

According to New Time magazine, Olha Freimut was named one of the TOP-100 successful women in Ukraine.

On 21 February 2018, Olha became the director of a ladies' school in the reality show From Ladette to Lady. On 6 March 2018, she presented her first children's book. It was called Bread Jan and was about a bat who wanted to see the sun. In May of the same year, her third book was published. It was titled School of Mrs. Freimuth: Etiquette. This book was for ladies and people with a sense of humor.

In the summer, Olha filmed a talk show called Olia for Novyi Kanal. This show was the first official version of the famous American show The Ellen DeGeneres Show in the world.
