Oliana is a small town in Catalonia, Spain. It's located in the beautiful Segre river valley. Right next to the town is the large Oliana reservoir, which is a big lake created by a dam.

Oliana is special because it has a factory that makes home electrical appliances. This factory has helped the town avoid losing people, which is a problem for many other small towns in this part of Catalonia. Because of this, Oliana is now the second-largest town in its region, called the Alt Urgell. The main road, C-14, connects Oliana to other towns like Ponts and La Seu d'Urgell.
