Oliver Stummvoll was born on November 13, 1995, in Sankt Pölten, Austria. He is a famous fashion model from Austria. Oliver is best known for winning the sixth season of Austria's Next Topmodel. This made him the very first male winner of the show!
Oliver's Big Win
Oliver Stummvoll competed against seventeen other people on cycle 6. His older brother, Manuel, and a footballer named Miro Slavov were also contestants. Oliver won the competition thanks to a public vote. The live finale was held on December 4, 2014.
Winning Austria's Next Topmodel was a big deal. Oliver became the first male winner in the entire Top Model TV show series around the world. Melanie Scheriau, who hosted the show, said Oliver was a "worthy winner" with "great potential." As part of his prize, Oliver appeared on the cover of GQ Germany magazine. He also signed a contract with Wiener Models, a modeling agency in Vienna.
His Modeling Journey
After winning Austria's Next Topmodel, Oliver's career took off. He appeared in many fashion magazines. Some of these include August Man Malaysia, The Fashionisto, and British GQ. He also appeared in GQ China and DA MAN.
Oliver has also worked on campaigns for different brands. He modeled for Loveday Jeans and BOWEN. A big moment in his career was appearing in Versace's global menswear campaign for fall/winter 2015. He was featured alongside other models like Alessio Pozzi. In January 2016, Oliver walked the runway for famous designer Jean Paul Gaultier. This was for Gaultier's spring/summer 2016 collection during Paris Fashion Week.
In October 2015, Cosmopolitan magazine recognized Oliver. They named him one of the most successful contestants from the Top Model TV show series. In January 2016, GQ Germany also honored him. They called Oliver Austria's best-dressed man.
