Olivia Baker (born June 12, 1996) is an American middle-distance runner. She is known for her speed in the 800 meters race. Olivia grew up in South Orange, New Jersey. She went to Columbia High School and later to Stanford University.

Olivia's Amazing High School Track Career

Olivia was a star athlete at Columbia High School. She was unbeatable in the 400-meter race against anyone from New Jersey. She won 13 state titles during her high school years. Olivia also helped her team set a state record in the 4x400 relay.

In 2013, she made history at the New Jersey Meet of Champions. She was the first person to win four events in the same year. Olivia won the 100m, 200m, and 400m races. She also anchored the winning 4x400 relay team. That same year, she won a national title in the 400m. Olivia was named the New Jersey Gatorade Girls Track and Field Athlete of the Year twice.

Competing for Team USA in High School

While still in high school, Olivia got to compete for the United States. At the 2013 World U18 Championships, she earned a silver medal in the 400m. She also won a gold medal as part of the Medley relay team. The next year, at the 2014 World U20 Championships, she won a bronze medal in the 400m. She also helped the 4x400m relay team win a gold medal.

Olivia's College Running Journey

Olivia continued her track career at Stanford University. She was an 11-time All-American, which means she was recognized as one of the best college athletes. In 2016, she became the Pac-12 400-meter champion. She was also named the West Region Track Athlete of the Year. In 2015, she was part of the winning 4x400m team at the Pan Am U20 Championships.

Olivia's Professional Track Career

Today, Olivia runs for the Atlanta Track Club. She also works there, helping with marketing and membership. In 2019, she was part of the winning mixed 4x400m team at the IAAF World Relays. In 2022, she competed in the 800m at the World Athletics Indoor Championships.
