Omer Shahzad is a talented Pakistani model, actor, and singer. He began his career in 2011. Since then, he has become one of Pakistan's most well-known models and actors. Omer made his acting debut in 2013. He appeared in the Geo TV drama series Adhoori Aurat. He played a negative character in this show. He then worked in other dramas like Choti Choti Khushiyan (2014) and Chor Darwazay (2014). In 2015, he starred in the popular series Noor Jahan. Starting as a Model

Omer began his career in 2011 as a model. He was auditioned by Vaneeza Ahmed for Bridal Couture Week. He was one of only eight male models chosen from 200 people. He shared, "There were 200 boys and girls at the audition. I was one of the eight male models selected." He then appeared on Noor's morning show on Hum TV.

He became very successful after working with a fashion coordinator. Omer explained, "It is only after you get published in a fashion publication as a model that they finally recognise you." He then worked with famous designers. These included Deepak Perwani, Sania Maskatiya, HSY, Zainab Chottani, Fahad Hussayn, and Zaheer Abbas. This work brought him a lot of praise and recognition.

Becoming an Actor

Omer made his first TV appearance in 2013. This was in the drama series Adhoori Aurat. He said, "I always wanted to be an actor. I watched Faisal Qureshi and Noman Ijaz in TV plays." He added, "But you have to start somewhere, and modelling happened first for me." In Adhoori Aurat, he played a character who was not a hero.

Before acting in movies, Omer starred in three more drama series. These were Choti Choti Khushiyan, Chor Darwazay, and Noor Jahan (2015).

He entered the film industry in 2015. He starred in the 2016 romantic-comedy film Teri Meri Love Story. This movie was directed by Jawad Bashir. In the film, he played the role of Ramis. He acted alongside Ushna Shah, Mohib Mirza, and Mohsin Abbas Haider.

In 2017, he appeared in the popular drama Alif Allah Aur Insaan. He played one of the main characters, Shaheer.

Omer Shahzad also starred in the highly anticipated Pakistani movie Jawani Phir Nahi Ani 2 in 2018. In this film, he played the main bad guy.

Singing Career

Omer once said that if he wasn't a model, he would have been a singer. In 2018, he announced that he would soon start his professional music career.

In 2022, he sang Yar Nu Meray with Ayesha Omar. This was for the second season of the TV music show Kashmir Beats. In the same year, he released his first solo song, Akhiyaan. This song was released for Crystal Records.
