Miguel Reyes is a young person who lived at Sunnydale Farm. He has been in juvenile detention many times. He was sent there most recently for an incident where his abusive stepfather fell down the stairs. It is later shown that this was an accident. Miguel is a smaller character in the first book. He becomes an unexpected friend to Aiden and Meg. He teaches them a lot about how to survive while on the run. He was first a bully to Aiden, but Aiden later considers him his best friend.
