Onur Tuna's Early Life and Education

Onur Tuna was born in Çanakkale, a city in Turkey. His family on his mother's side came from Thessaloniki, which is now in Greece, after the Ottoman Empire ended. His mother used to work in a land office, and his father was a math teacher.

School and University

Onur studied economics at Dokuz Eylül University. He also learned about Turkish classical music at the Ege University Conservatory. Besides acting, Onur is a musician who can play the guitar. He has released two songs called "Acın Verdi" and "Tıpkı Sen."

Sports and Hobbies

From middle school, Onur Tuna played licensed volleyball and basketball. He also started acting in school plays during his middle and high school years. While he was studying at university in İzmir, he worked as a professional model for four years.

Onur took acting classes at the Müjdat Gezen Art Center in İzmir. When he moved to Istanbul, he continued to take private acting lessons. In 2019, he started playing the character Ferman in Mucize Doktor (Miracle Doctor). This show is based on a South Korean TV series called Good Doctor. From 2021 to 2022, he shared the main role with İsmail Hacıoğlu in the Fox Türkiye series Mahkum (Prisoner), which is an adaptation of Innocent Defendant. Since 2023, he has been starring in Şahane Hayatım (My Wonderful Life).

Onur Tuna has also acted in several movies. In 2014, he was in the Turkish drama film A Small September Affair. He also played a main role in the movie Ağır Romantik (Heavy Romance) in 2020. In 2022, he starred in Benden Ne Olur? (What Can Become of Me?). In 2023, he played Mustafa Kemal Atatürk in the film Son Akşam Yemeği (Last Supper). He also appeared in a short film called Kir (Dirt).
