Working at Siemens

Onyeche Tifase started her career at Siemens in 2001. Siemens is a very large global company that makes many things, like power systems and industrial equipment. She began as an electrical engineer in the Power Distribution Division in the United Kingdom.

After that, she worked in different parts of Siemens. She had roles in power transmission, sales, and marketing. She worked in Siemens offices in Germany and the United States.

In 2006, she returned to Nigeria. She worked for a company called Accenture Nigeria for a few years. There, she helped businesses with their management.

In 2009, she came back to Siemens. She became the Deputy General Manager for Medium Voltage and Transformers. This was for Siemens Ltd Nigeria. Her hard work and leadership led her to a big promotion. On November 1, 2014, she became the first Nigerian Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Siemens Nigeria.

Leading the Nigerian Economic Summit Group

Onyeche Tifase also plays a key role in the Nigerian Economic Summit Group (NESG). This group is very important for Nigeria's future. It brings together leaders to discuss how to improve the country's economy.

In 2018, she was appointed as a Vice-Chairman of the NESG. Before this, she was a Non-Executive Director. This means she helped guide the group's decisions.
