Operation Ouch! is a super fun British TV show for kids. It teaches you all about the amazing human body! You get to see what happens in a hospital's A&E (Accident & Emergency) department. The show also explores cool medical treatments and technology.

The show first aired on CBBC in October 2012. It later came to ABC Australia in 2013. Your hosts are twin brothers and real doctors, Dr Chris and Dr Xand van Tulleken. In 2019, another awesome doctor, Dr Ronx, joined the team.

Discover Your Body

Dr Chris and Dr Xand love to teach kids about medicine and biology. They do exciting experiments to show how your body works. They also look into different medical treatments. Sometimes they even show you cool medical technology.

The doctors also give you "try this at home" experiments. These are safe and fun ways to learn more about your body. You can do them yourself!

Hospital Heroes

The show takes you inside real hospitals. Dr Chris and Dr Xand follow doctors and nurses in the A&E department. They visit places like Alder Hey Children's Hospital and Royal Manchester Children's Hospital. You get to see how they help young patients.

The doctors also ride along with ambulance teams. They join the West Midlands Ambulance Service and Midlands Air Ambulance. This means they go out to help people in medical emergencies. You can see how these rapid response teams work.
