Orchard MRT Station (NS22/TE14) is a busy underground train station in Singapore. It is part of the MRT system. This station is on the North South Line. You can find it along Orchard Road, which is a famous shopping street. The station is located between the Orchard and River Valley areas.

This station helps people get around the western part of Orchard Road. It is a key stop for shoppers and visitors. The station platforms have a maroon color scheme. Much of the station is decorated with black marble.

A Little Bit of History

Did you know the station had a different name before? Its original name was Orchard Boulevard. It opened in 1987.
