A Glimpse into Oreapolis's Past
Oreapolis had a special role for a short time in the mid-1800s. A post office was opened there in 1859. This post office helped people send and receive letters and packages, which was very important for communication back then. However, it didn't stay open for long. The post office closed its doors in 1864.
