Orla Barry is a talented artist from Ireland. She creates art using many different ways, like performance art (where she acts out a piece), video, writing, and sound. Besides being an artist, she also takes care of a special group of Lleyn sheep on the southern coast of Ireland.
She teaches at the Institute of Technology, Carlow and used to be a research advisor at the Jan Van Eyck Academie.
About Orla Barry
Orla Barry lived in Brussels, Belgium, for 16 years. Now, she lives and works in County Wexford in South-East Ireland. This is where she looks after her special Lleyn sheep.

Orla Barry has also won awards for her art. In 2003, she received a prize from the Palais de Beaux Arts for the Prix de la Jeune Peinture Belge. She was also chosen as a finalist for the Glen Dimplex Prize in 1999.
