Ozzie's Football Journey
Starting Out in Youth Teams
Ozzie joined the youth team of Adelaide United for the 2008–09 A-League season. Before that, he played for local clubs like Croydon Kings and Adelaide Raiders. He started playing professionally at just 17 years old. In 2008, Ozzie even had a two-week trial with an Italian club called Torino.
First Professional Games
The manager of Adelaide United, Aurelio Vidmar, brought Ozzie into the main team. This happened when a player named Paul Agostino was injured, and Ozzie joined for the FIFA Club World Cup. Ozzie played his first professional game on December 14, 2008. It was against Gamba Osaka, and he came into the game in the 77th minute.
Moving to North Queensland Fury
On June 3, 2009, Ozzie signed a one-year contract with North Queensland Fury. He joined as a player under 21 years old, after spending time with Adelaide Galaxy.
Returning to Adelaide United
For the 2011–12 season, Ozzie signed with Adelaide United again. The team's manager at the time was Rini Coolen. On May 17, 2011, Adelaide United asked North Queensland Fury if Ozzie could join them earlier. Fury agreed, which allowed Ozzie to play for Adelaide United for the rest of the 2010–11 season.
Playing for Melbourne City
Ozzie signed with Melbourne City in January 2016. He played for them for several seasons.
Time with Odisha FC
In June 2022, it was announced that Ozzie signed a one-year deal with Odisha, a club in the Indian Super League. He made his first appearance for Odisha on August 23, 2022. This game was against Kerala Blasters in the Durand Cup, and Odisha won 2–0.
