Oshana is a region located in the northern part of Namibia. It is an important area for farming and is home to many people. The main city and capital of the Oshana Region is Oshakati.
Farming and Animals in Oshana
One of the most important crops grown in Oshana is called Omahangu. This grain is a main food source for many families in the region. Besides growing crops, raising animals is also very common. Many herds of Cattle are found here, as the area is good for them to live and graze.
Constituencies of Oshana
A constituency is like a smaller area or district within a region. Each constituency has its own local government and representatives. The Oshana Region is divided into eleven constituencies. These are:
