He also worked with prime ministers Mohamed Tahir Ayala and Abdalla Hamdok.

Becoming Prime Minister

In January 2022, the prime minister at the time, Abdalla Hamdok, stepped down. After this, Osman Hussein was chosen to be the acting prime minister. An acting prime minister takes charge temporarily. They lead the government until a new, permanent leader is chosen.
