PB Bear and Friends facts for kids
PB Bear and Friends is a fun series of children's books created by Lee Davis. It also became a popular British TV show for kids! The characters in the show are not drawn. Instead, they are cute stuffed puppets that are brought to life using a special filming method called stop-motion. This is similar to how the old Paddington Bear show was made. In the UK, you could watch PB Bear and Friends on Channel 5's Milkshake!, and it was also shown again on Tiny Pop and Nick Jr.

The Television Series
The PB Bear and Friends TV show first aired on Channel 5. It started on January 2, 1998, and the last episode was shown on December 25, 1998. Each episode was about five minutes long, perfect for young viewers.
How the Show Was Made
The TV series used a special animation technique called stop-motion. This means that the puppet characters are moved tiny bits at a time, and a picture is taken after each small movement. When all the pictures are played quickly, it looks like the characters are moving on their own!
The PC Game
A computer game based on the series was also made! It was called PB Bear's Birthday Party and was released on a CD-ROM by Dorling Kindersley Multimedia. This game was made for younger children, like those in kindergarten. It helped them learn important skills such as counting, recognizing numbers and shapes, and solving mazes.
